Recently, Discord issued a "formal breach" warning to BotGhost - one of the most popular no-code Discord bot builders - ordering them to stop using bot tokens in their current system by July 14, 2025 or face shutdown. This directive stems from a serious vulnerability in BotGhost’s token handling, which could have allowed widespread bot account takeover. The situation gained attention following an exposé video from Discord YouTuber NTTS.
Though Inventor.gg itself wasn’t compromised, the fallout triggered a mass migration of BotGhost users to Inventor.gg, where our bot is currently hosted. Unfortunately, Inventor has since announced that it will no longer support free bots - all plans are moving behind a premium paywall, starting at $5.99/month.
As a small project maintained by a passionate 13-year-old, PikaUtils is now at risk. If Inventor enforces its premium-only policy and BotGhost shuts down, we may be forced to shut down PikaUtils unless another free hosting solution is found.
This situation is still developing, and nothing is set in stone yet. We’ll continue to provide updates as we learn more.
